About Greg



Greg is the Director of the Ross School of Business and the head of Business Education and Financial Literacy at John F. Ross C.V.I. located in Guelph, Ontario. In this role, Greg has pushed financial literacy concepts to the forefront of the program creating personal finance lessons that are geared toward teens and young adults.
Outside the classroom, Greg has written numerous columns in the Guelph Mercury Tribune including the series Lessons in Finance that provide financial tips and advice for young adults. Greg has spoken at seminars, including the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario – No Limits Conference, where he highlighted the series and its classroom applications.
Recently, Greg was awarded the Hilmer Award by the Ontario Business Educators’ Association for his work related to business education. This award represents a career-long contribution to education with a focus on professional leadership in the school, community and province.
An active member of the Guelph community, Greg has been a past member of Guelph’s Transit Board, played the lead role in a Guelph Little Theatre’s production and coached numerous teams at John F. Ross, Guelph Minor Baseball and Youth Basketball. He also served a 7 year term as the School Chair at his children’s local public school.

Greg and his wife Kelly are pleased to call Guelph home where they are raising their three children.
